What about me? I have watched Psych since it premiered, and I have all the seasons so far and the musical, which was Epic! I am a writer who has self published her own superhero stories, and have stumbled back into fan fiction. I used to write Lois and Clark fan fiction (the show from 1993), so fan fic isn't a whole new world, just writing for Psych!
When I'm not writing, I make jewelry for sale! So I do keep busy with that!

Author's Response: Thanks for the info and the review. I've been attempting to add a second chapter, but it keeps failing the minimum word count even though it has at least 100 words.
There are many things in life that Shawn never told his father, or Gus for that matter. Most stemmed from his extended vacation around the country after he left high school. He never told them about that one semester of college in Ohio, or the mugging in Denver. There are certain things you never tell a soul, but sometimes the truth comes out anyway.

I had to read the whole thing before reviewing (I'm kind of a stickler for that). This was good, really good. At first, it confused me that it was in present tense instead of past, but I got over that quickly. Good job!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. For the most part (like most writers), I write in third person past tense. I've learned however that a story can be told in a better way by changing up the tense and point of view. Tense can add nuance that plain old description cannot. I love using present tense to instill an "urgent" sort of tone to a story. Or a "here and now" sort of feeling. The REAL challenge is switching up tenses and POVs between projects. LOL I was writing 3rd person present here, and 1st person present on a short story, and then 3rd person past on another project.. I caught myself making plenty of tense mistakes. (;
