Forlorn. Painful. I'm in a bit of a Writer's Block at the moment, and that flash gave me two scenes I want to write up, though... don't know how I'm going to do that with this block. Besides the point.
The way you ended it the same way you began - nice touch. :)

Great story. It really caused me to think. It wasn't necesarily confusing, but it caused me to think. That's a good thing btw! Good work with this though. It's probably my favorite response to "Why'd you do it, Kid?" so far.
