The elders took matters into their own hands. That doesn't bode well for Shawn, especially if the other aliens are coming clean and telling everyone else.
My guess is Marlowe is an alien. Probably wrong but I feel like making an outlandish guess.

Author's Response: Thank you! I try to get into the heads of the characters and write how I think they would behave. You write Shawn exceptionally well. I try, but that head of his is so jam-packed, I can barely move! LOL!

I'm not a huge SCIFY fan but I do like it enough to try it--and I'm really liking this one ;^) Looking forward to reading the next chapter and see what is in store for Shawn. I esp. love the way you are writing the characters interactions--and loved the whole men-in-black vibe with the FBI and Shawn picking up on the fake badges (which had that perfect line from Jules :^)
