Author's Response: The last chapter was hard, but satisfying to write. Since Born This Way I knew that I wanted to have his babysitter's death connect things for him. They never say what the final straw for Henry and Shawn was, and always hoped it was when Shawn got a clue about what his father had done to him. Yes, it helped him out later, but dude! Let the kid be a kid! :D

Author's Response: There were so many things that bugged me about the timelines and flashbacks not connecting, so I had to do my best to fix that. :D

I agree with the oopsy part on the writers (but tbh they did a lot of oopsies after from s4 and onwards).

Author's Response: Jack was a big part of Shawn growing up, and getting to act like an actual kid. I had to throw him in there at least once. ;)

Author's Response: Thank you so much for all the reviews! With the emails down I didn't notice. I love writing smart Shawn. The last couple seasons really didn't do the intelligence of the character justice.

Esp considering how confusing the canon timeline is for this whole divorce arch and the events following it. But you did such a spectacular job of tying in all loose ends. congratulations on the job well done

Wow, that was some fight and a great ending to this story.
Would love to know if you decide to write the sequel, but can understand if you don't. It would be a very daunting task.

Oh my word, this was epic. I just about had a heart attack when I saw this on the update list, and you didn't disappoint. And finally, the DET :) been waiting for that one. :)
I seriously don't know why I don't see your name role through the credits after every Psych episode... In my book this whole thing was that good :)
