You're fourteen? Seriously?! You write with a lot of maturity.

"They wanted me to draw what I was feeling with colors. Red was angry, blue was sad--"

"Yellow was guilty," Shawn added, "and green was jealous..."

I liked the way Shawn recognises himself in Thalia and the easy enough conversation between them. I also liked that you acknowledged Thalia comes across wiser than her years yet still made it believable.

Nice touch too with Henry picking up on Shawn's (for him) quieter attitude.

... Here's a secret that you only find out later- everyone keeps their teddy bears. Their faces may be smushed, the fur and noses gone, but somewhere or other, they're around.

Author's Response: Lol yeah... I've had a lot of practice. *blush* The whole counseling thing drove me nuts; they kept insisting that it wasn't my fault and no matter how many times I told them I didn't blame myself, they didn't believe me. *rolls eyes* Thank you for your review!

Aww, Lossttt. That was adorable. I wanted to give Thalia a big giant hug, and Shawn too. Really loved this story c: Great job!

Very sweet.  Thalia was a well-written OC.  And no, not too old.  I'm almost 30, and I still have the bear I got when I was 7.  :)

First of all, you're not too old. I still have the babydoll I got when I was 2 and at 18 I still hug it for comfort. That and my llama plushie I got last year :)

This was so good. I teared up while reading this. My parents split when I was 14 and I went through the same thing you described here. If you'd like to talk to someone who's been there too, I'm always here :)

Author's Response: Aw. :( Sorry about your parents. It seems like nowadays everybody's a split kid. But yeah, thanks for the review!

Oh, Lost. That was so heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. I love Shawn and Thalia, and I hear your real voice emanating from hers. The elevator thing was real, wasn't it? I remember you mentioning it. Anyway, you are a great writer and really good at emotion. Thank you for sharing this little piece of yourself with us. *Hugs tightly*

Author's Response: Aww thanks Nike! Yeah, I was six. Still got the teddy bear, too. :D
