I enjoyed this story very much. It is a great Psych-like story and very close to being just like an actual episode. Kudos for that. But, because it was introduced as a character fantasy, I kept waiting for it to get more serious and intense.

The reason you are to blame you ask? Simple. You're a fantastic writer and I had already read "You Can Run" and "More Than A Meal". I love these two stories so much. Especially "You Can Run".
Soooooo....I was expecting something more serious and intense. But please don't take what I'm saying as a criticism. I think this is a great story and very in character for Psych. It's my hang up that I was expecting a less actual episode like story and more fantasy. (And I don't mean sex.)

I was expecting Shawn to know how to ride a horse and use a lasso because (in my mind for the purpose of this story) he had worked on a ranch before as one of his previous 57 jobs.

But, what I did absolutely love was - J.C. going after Shawn, Juliet's jealousy, Juliet's reaction the first time she sees Shawn dressed as a cowboy and, of course, the scene where Shawn is using the bucket of water to wash off and Juliet sees him and likes what she sees. All of that was so totally Awesome!

May I also say that I love all of your OFC's! You have great character development! And the case they were there to solve was really good too. :)

Sorry for my hang ups and please know that I am excited to read more of your wonderful stories. You are really and truly talented.
