Girl, this was alllll levels of wrong! You had Murdoc USE Shawn to kill Mac WITHOUT telling Shawn that was his actual mission? XD (I'm not freaking out in a bad way btw, just that really hits HARD :P)
Also, nah, I don't believe that Murdoc can't teach or fight anymore. Uh-nuh. Once an assassin, always an assasin. :P

I LOVE this chapter it was soooooo sweet! X3 The whole "Get down!" "That's not much of a plan" bit between the two of them made me smile, and to mention THAT ENDING O.o Also, I love how they went from "dude I'm not trusting you or doing anything you say man" to "open up your knife" "ok done" XD

Bahahahaha! This is the best line XDD I'm not going to lie, I thought the exact same thing at first :P
“It’s not poison, I swear,” Shawn said. “I just figured that you need it more than me because, you know, you’re old and crumbly and I don’t want things to start falling off of you or something.”
*chokes* Nope, nope THIS is my favorite line XDD Ahhh mah gosh I love the two of them together!
Also, I love the irony of Mac saying "That only works in Westerns" and then proceeding to do something he saw in a Western once just to ward off snakes. XD And Shawn calling his dad by his first name really helped emphasize the strain on their relationship right now~

Sorry it took me so long to get around to reading these last few chapters! I am LOVING the banter between the two of them =D Also, this line:
"I have a photographic memory, Jack, and I remember every single mission that I’ve ever been on."
Okay, so I might just be a little bit crazy, but my brain instantly made a connection. Did you call him Jack on purpose because RDA plays both MacGyver and Jack O'Neill in SG-1, or am I just seeing things because I'm a fangirl and I'm nuts? XD Lol!
Also, HA, they're both lying and they BOTH know the other is lying. There's NO WAY Mac brought his "I just wanna go home" act. :P I can't wait to see where they end up~
Author's Response: I WISH that I had remembered that when I wrote it! I just included the Jack-tagging because it felt like something Shawn would say. Can we just pretend that I did it on purpose as a Stargate reference? :-D
