Well, I think there is slightly more to the Gus Aggiornamento tragedy than we saw in the episode. I've always had three questions about what happened.

1- Why would Shawn know how to spell that word in the first place?

2- Why would Gus listen to him for the letter?

3- Why would Shawn be a bad speller, as he claims to be? With his photographic memory, he should be an awesome speller.

This fic will attempt to answer all three of these questions.

This chapter is for two reasons.

1- It's my b-day and I can't sleep.

2- I've always had a thing with lassie wanting kids. I love how deeply its part of his character. He mentions it for the first time in Red Phantom, when he says its the reason he split with his wife. "She though I didn't want kids. She was wrong." Then again in Tuesday the 17th, when he asks the Chief if it's too early to start talking about kids. Clearly, he's the one who wants them. I think the quote in Phantom is meant to convey not that she wanted kids and mistakenly believed he didn't. That would be easy to fix. He'd just have to say, "I want them, too." I think she thought he DIDN'T want kids, then found out she was wrong. That's when they broke up. THis would also explain why he asked if it was too early to talk about kids. If his wife had wanted them all along and now he did, too, then of course it wasn't too early. It'd only be too early if she didn't before.
