Story Notes:

Author's Chapter Notes:
Just a (hopefully) enjoyable scene with Shawn, Gus and a very tasty dessert.

Gus entered the Psych office to see his partner sitting in his chair behind his desk with a large sack in front of him.

        “Shawn. What are you doing?”

“Gus!” With a smile, Shawn reached into the bag and retrieved a large plastic tray with a lid. Setting it on Gus’s desk, he removed the lid to reveal a ginormous dessert.

“I was just preparing to enjoy this Boston Creme Cake. You’re free to join if you’re up to it.”

“Actually Shawn, its pie...Boston Creme Pie.”

“Gus, don’t be a triple latte without the foam and little cherry on top. It’s clearly a cake...indisputably so.”

“Whatever, Shawn. But it’s called Boston Creme Pie. Everyone knows that.”

“Fine, then I’ll just enjoy this cake all by myself.” With that, he picked up the tray and headed for the doorway.

“Don’t make me slap you Shawn.”

Shawn disappeared backwards through the doorway.

“Shawn!” Gus took off into the other room. A few seconds later both emerged into the office: Shawn in the lead, Gus in pursuit; only to disappear into the other room again. Sounds of a struggle, silence...then “Guuuuus!”

Chapter End Notes:
Whether it's Boston Creme Pie (or Boston Creme Cake), running with it on a tray...with no lid is NOT a good idea.
