Aw, the beginning of a lifelong obsession- I love it. And since I'm new to psych fanfiction, I've yet to read any of the fics where Shawn's mother gives it to him. So as far as I'm concerned, Henry started it here.

I totally loved this chapter. Reading about Jules waiting for Shawn at the door like that made me go into awww! mode. They seemed so real, with a house, a marriage, and a kid.
Here's my theory on the Millicent name... In that episode Shawn was playing/messing with Jules about being married and gave them a rediculous name, Van Tosting, I think. Watch her reaction when he says it. Just to spite Shawn, Jules also comes up with a rediculous name (No ofence) for their kid. Watch his reaction when she says it. In that whole scene they're trying to come up with crazy things to say.
Wow, that was a spcheel ... Just an idea for you.

I can't say I'm a fan of the name Millie. I love the picture you create here of Shawn and Juliet's married life, and how little Millie, clearly has gotten her father's rather shrewd observational skills, while touching Juliet's concern about her husband, and trying to maintain a cool facade in front of her daughter.
Also the idea of Shawn, a serial dater and a former free wheelin' bachelor, having a daughter is a nice karma payback for him. Nice to see Shawn still has his motorcycle :)

1. I was reading this chapter which I love very much (yeah for Shules + kid!) and suddenly my screen turned black --> t'was a short power outage because of the (mild) storm outside .... I totally got into the mood :)
2. What was second again? ... oh yeah! Go on! because this was amazing and I love your 100 moments (well, I like the first 22 at least ^^)
3. I don't like that name either but the more often I read this the more I like the name ;)

and yeah, i don't really like the name millicent but it reminds me of the movie "Flushed Away." when the pink eyed rat says that the other rats name is millicent bystandard. ^-^
