This was fantastic! I actually hadn't read any of these before, so I read Expectations first and then had to go back and read all the other ones because this one was so awesome. I love how exhausted Shawn and Gus are, how subtly sick Shawn is, and the grumpiness of Henry-- I just want to squee while hugging the crap out of this little one shot.
And as much as I love moments between Shawn and his dad, it makes me so happy when authors work in the fact that Henry had a hand in raising Gus (because I imagine Gus and Shawn basically living at each others' houses) and cares about him, too.

Aww, Shawn. I like this part of him with Abigail. As much as I hate the way it was done, I'm glad they resolved all that on the show. (Though tbh I think it was MORE resolved when all we had to go on was the Bueller ep and not their weird breakup/breakup again from season 4. But that's a whole other rant.)
