Waiiiittt does it anyone else find it funny how similar your fic is to Shawn and Gus in Drag (Racing) which didn't are until a year after this. Shawn and Gus were basically undercover and Lassie punched Shawn to make sure his cover wasn't blown? YAAAS.

Also, Gus not believing Shawn makes all the sense to me.
I can't believe this fic is from 2009, that feels like so long ago. Your writing has definitely gotten better but it was still pretty good back then too. A lot better than my early stuff lol.

Not the type of story I normally check out, but I try to keep up with the Character Fantasy replies! I like how you made the punch plausible in the context of the story and how you ended with Lassiter's line about it not being something a police officer wants to be forced to do. Nice idea!!

Perfect! it was amazingly wonderful! it's probably unhealthy of me to say this, but i absolutely loved the scene of Lassiter punching Shawn. It was the perfect amount of whump and angst. can't wait for your next story!
