At the last PF convention Shawn and Gus will ever go to, something smells fishy, and it's not Gus' deodorent.
When Shawn and Gus are called to reality by an old (young?) friend, it's obvious they weren't supposed to be there. Now that they've dimension hopped, they've ripped a rift through the fabrics of spcae and time, and if they don't get back home in 24 hours, they'd be stuck in our world forever. Thus causing a paradox and ripping both of our dimensions to shreds.
But getting home isn't always the easiest thing when you've got a murderer on the loose, again. It seems like this time, PFers might be the ones saving Shawn and Gus, instead of the other way around.
One thing's for sure: If they didn't get them back home soon, they'd be swimming with the fishies.
